How to upgrade to Beamer 3

For existing customers upgrade pricing is available. When you open Beamer 3, it will look at the existing license and give you an option to upgrade. What option is available to you depends on your current license.

Upgrade from Beamer 2

If you’re a Beamer 2 customer, you can upgrade using ‘Pay What You Want’. Pay any amount you like!

Upgrade from Beamer 1

We’ve extended the upgrade scheme from Beamer 1 to Beamer 2 to also include Beamer 3.

If you purchased Beamer 1 after October 1, 2013 you can upgrade directly to Beamer 3 using ‘Pay What You Want’. Pay any amount you like!

If you purchased Beamer 1 after March 1, 2013 you’ll be offered to purchase Beamer 3 with a 60% discount.

If you purchased Beamer 1 before March 1, 2013 you’ll be offered to purchase Beamer 3 with a 40% discount.

Entering your old license

If you want to upgrade to Beamer 3, but currently not have Beamer 1 or Beamer 2 installed, you can do the following:

From Beamer 2: simply load your license file into Beamer 3 (e.g., drop it onto the welcome window). Beamer 3 will validate your Beamer 2 license and give you the option to upgrade.

From Beamer 1: entering your Beamer 1 license directly is currently (as of version 3.0) not possible. The easiest way is to first download the lastest version of Beamer 1, enter your license and then start Beamer 3 again.
